Turn off the motorway on the A33 to Southampton. Straight on at the first roundabout, along Bassett Avenue. At the second roundabout, second exit onto Winchester Road. » Turn right at the next roundabout onto Hill Lane. First right into Rockleigh Road. At the T junction turn right onto Thornhill Road.  436 Winchester Road is at the end of Thornhill Road, on your right. Park at the (blocked off) end.

Driving from the east via the M27

Turn off at junction 5, left (first exit) onto Stoneham Way.  Right at the first traffic lights onto Bassett Green Road.  At the first roundabout, turn left onto Bassett Avenue. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto Winchester Road and follow the directions from »(above).

Driving from the west via the M27

Turn off at junction 3, to the right, onto the M271 (Southampton West). Turn left immediately at next Junction (1) onto Brownhill Way.  Follow the road over the next three roundabouts (follow signs for Bassett) and a set of lights (past "The Woodman" pub on the left). The road becomes Lordshill Way then Lordswood Road. Turn right at a mini-roundabout then first left into Rockleigh Road.  At the end of Rockleigh Road turn right onto Thornhill Road and park at the (blocked off) end. The front door to 436 Winchester Road is then on your right.

On weekdays, trains leave London Waterloo every 20 to 30 minutes.  Journey times to Southampton Central Station are between 69 and 84 minutes.  Cross the footbridge and exit the station on the platform 1 side.  The taxi fare to Winchester Road, Bassett is approximately £6 (Tell the driver that 436 is between Hill Lane and the Avenue, about 200 m from the junction with Hill Lane).
