Simone Laraway BA(Hons), LRAM, DipRam, Level 3 VoiceGym Instructor

Simone Laraway studied Music & English Literature at Southampton University where she met Angela Caine. After graduation she worked with Angela at the Voice and Body Centre and became a VoiceGym instructor. She then went on to study PostGraduate Musical Theatre at The Royal Academy of Music and also obtained her LRAM in the Art of Singing. Simone is a professional Singer and has worked in cabaret and Musical Theatre both in the UK and Europe. Simone specialises in children's voices but having said that has taught all ages from 3 to 73. What she loves to do is unlock the potential of the voice. She has been teaching for over 15 years and is dedicated to keep developing VoiceGym.

Alexander Evans BA(Hons), Level 3 VoiceGym Instructor

Alexander studied music at Southampton University. It was here he met Angela Caine, and studied voice as a part of his degree. On completion of his degree he continued to train with Angela and became a VoiceGym instructor teaching at the The Voice and Body Centre in Southampton, and workshops up and down the UK, whilst embarking on his own professional career. As a singer he has performed across three continents, on tour in the UK and Europe, and in London's West End, in both Opera and Musical Theatre. He continues to teach VoiceGym and has coached leading West End artists and Opera singers as well as actors, professional voice users, doctors, lawyers and teachers.

Angela Caine AGSM, LRAM

It is with great sadness that we have to announce that Angela Caine, the founder of VoiceGym, passed away peacefully on 22nd July 2011, after a short illness. As Angela Lewis, Angela was also the much loved wife of Chris, mother of Huw and Sian, and Grandma to Harry and Phoebe. Click here to read Angela's obituary.
