The
Introductory course is based on VoiceGym
and its exercises can be used for group work in Drama and Musical Theatre
and as a training resource in Company Training Departments.

This resource within your group or company training ensures continued
-
- Vocal Fitness for Speech
and singing
- Fundamental Performance Skills in confident personal presentation
- The end of Voice Strain and Voice Loss
- Flexible working bodies that maintain efficient and attractive posture
- Range and Repertoire in Singing
Angela Caine's training policy is based on the simple fact that few
people are vocally fit. Her answer to this is that the voice and body
need to be worked together. Her exercise programme develops stretch and
flexibility throughout the whole vocal and postural system. She estimates
that currently few people use more than 40% of the available muscles in
the upper torso and neck when they sing or speak. Adding the rest unleashes
a flood of vocal potential. You can then use your voice one to one, in
presentations or on stage with confidence because you always know what
it will do. Vocal confidence leads to personal confidence and thinking
on your feet.
Enjoy Learning
People
respond and commit to Voice Gym because the whole programme
is simple and great fun. Bringing fun back into learning attracts
people who have been led to believe that all learning is 'testbased'
and competitive, Group singing is a great team-builder when everyone
can confidently sing. Even people in Music Theatre Groups do
not always have this confidence. VoiceGym ensures an efficient and
attractive professional voice in both speech and singing for life.
